  • Speaking of stories making waves outside the Boise Valley, did you know that the first state Bar Association president of South Asian descent is an alum of the College? Rajeev Majumdar '99 earned that distinction next door, in Washington, and it made news in and , two publications focused on Indian-Americans.
  • Another alum, Kristine McDivitt Tompkins '72, was when her non-profit turned over a huge swath of land to the Chilean government to establish a national park. McDivitt Tompkins co-founded Patagonia Clothing after graduating from the College. (CBS News)
